Take a look at past After Action reports of each event to read the details. Volunteer docents at the events usually receive more back than what they put in. Training and lunch are provided. Try it out.
The High Plains Honor Flight is now accepting applications for all Vietnam Veterans as well as WWII, and Korea. Vietnam Veteran applications are being accepted.
The Arlington National Cemetery Crewmembers Memorial placement is now available for viewing. Thanks to all of you who supported this project.

We normally hold meetings once a month, on the third Wednesday of the month, at 10:00 am at American Legion Post #1, I-25 and Yale Avenue. We occasionally change venues, so contact us at the address below to verify dates, times, and location. The National Reunion is being planned for San Antonio in July 2023. The museum committee will meet periodically to continue categorizing inventory and developing additional displays.
Chapter Member Major Robert T. White (Ret), "The Last POW", was interviewed about his experiences leading up to and after he became a Vietnam POW, at the August, 2021 meeting. Chapter Member Cliff Lawson recorded the Interview.

REPORT
On Oct. 9, 2021, Chapter members Mike Silva (left) and Dale House, two Colorado-based helicopter pilots, were each honored with the FAA’s Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. The most prestigious award bestowed by the FAA for pilots certificated under Part 61, the award recognizes pilots who have exhibited professionalism, skill, and aviation expertise for more than 50 years with no history of certificate revocation. The two received their awards at a special event in Lakewood, Colorado, hosted by the Colorado Aviation Historical Society..
Wings Over The Rockies-Cockpit Demo Days 2nd Saturday of each month,10am to 2pm. You can visit "Sweet Suoix" ,The Huey Gunship of "GunShip Ministries", was donated by Col Bill McPherson to the WOR Museum. Check with the Museum before you go to be sure it is open.

We have scheduled a Work Party at the Museum in Golden for May 9, 2023 at 1000 hours in preparation of Memorial Weekend activities.
