GENERAL INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS

MEMBER INFORMATION

On Oct. 9, 2021, Chapter members Mike Silva (left) and Dale House, two Colorado-based helicopter pilots, were each honored with the FAA’s Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. The most prestigious award bestowed by the FAA for pilots certificated under Part 61, the award recognizes pilots who have exhibited professionalism, skill, and aviation expertise for more than 50 years with no history of certificate revocation. The two received their awards at a special event in Lakewood, Colorado, hosted by the Colorado Aviation Historical Society..

Take a look at past After Action reports of each event to read the details. Volunteer docents at the events usually receive more back than what they put in. Training and lunch are provided. Try it out.

The High Plains Honor Flight is now accepting applications for all Vietnam Veterans as well as WWII, and Korea. The next flight is planned for Mid-May 2022.   The Chapter hosts the return flight welcome to Denver at Signature Flight Support at DIA.  Vietnam Veteran applications are being accepted.

The  Arlington National Cemetery Crewmembers Memorial placement is now available for viewing. Thanks to all of you who supported this project.
